IEH - Ethical Trading Initiative Norway

Good practice

Change does not happen overnight. The road to improvement can be long and the change takes place mainly through long-term cooperation. To many it seems impossible to deal with poor working conditions in the supply chain. IEH -Ethical Trading Initiative Norway's mission is to do the work of ethical trade feasible.

It is important that trade is done in such a way that others are not paying the price for your profit. Therefore, IEH wants to ensure that goods purchased by Norwegian companies, organizations or public sector is made in accordance with internationally recognized labor standards and environmental considerations.

It's about doing business ethically feasible. For there is much good will and great interest in setting ethical standards among both private and public sectors.
